End User License Agreement (EULA)

Effective Date: April 16, 2026 · Last Updated: April 16, 2026

Important: By installing or using Bulk Edit for Jira, you agree to the terms of this End User License Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the software.

1. Agreement

This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("you" or "User") and Appcento ("we," "us," or "Licensor") governing your use of Bulk Edit for Jira (the "App"), a Jira Cloud application available through the Atlassian Marketplace.

2. License grant

Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the Atlassian Marketplace terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App within your Jira Cloud environment for internal business purposes.

3. Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where such restriction is prohibited by law
  • Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws, regulations, or Atlassian policies
  • Attempt to circumvent the App's security controls, scopes, or Forge platform restrictions

4. Ownership

The App is licensed, not sold. We retain all right, title, and interest in and to the App, including all intellectual property rights.

5. Updates

We may provide updates, bug fixes, or new versions of the App from time to time. Atlassian may also automatically deploy updates as part of the Forge platform. This EULA applies to all updates unless we provide a separate agreement.

6. Termination

This EULA is effective until terminated. You may terminate it at any time by uninstalling the App from your Jira site. We may terminate this EULA if you breach its terms.

7. User responsibility and assumption of risk

You are solely responsible for your use of the App and the results of any bulk operations you perform. Before applying changes, you should:

  • Review and verify all changes using the preview feature before applying them
  • Ensure you have appropriate backups or recovery procedures in place
  • Test operations on a small number of issues before applying to large batches
  • Understand that bulk operations modify live Jira data and may not be fully reversible in all circumstances

You acknowledge that the App modifies Jira issue data based on your instructions. We are not responsible for any data loss, corruption, unintended changes, or other consequences resulting from your use of the App, including but not limited to incorrect field updates, accidental bulk modifications, or issues arising from Jira API behavior.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

Our total cumulative liability for all claims arising from or related to this EULA shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. If you have not paid for the App, our liability is limited to zero.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Appcento and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of this EULA, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Governing law

This EULA is governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Appcento operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
