1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using PII Shield ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. License

Appcento grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App within your Jira Cloud instance, subject to these terms and your subscription plan.

3. Subscription & Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through the Atlassian Marketplace. Appcento does not directly process payment information. Refunds are handled according to Atlassian's Marketplace refund policy.

4. Permitted Use

You may use the App for legitimate business purposes within your Jira Cloud account. You may not resell, sublicense, or reverse-engineer the App.

5. Compliance Responsibility

The App provides tools for PII detection, redaction, and evidence generation. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the App meets your specific compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, etc.). The App does not guarantee compliance with any specific regulation.

6. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is." Appcento is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
